In all the cases above, when the person buying (buyer) buys thru a profile of another person (the recommender) or reports a recommender in our post-shopping survey, the recommender receives Yub Points too. We call Yub Points acquired in this manner, Expert Points or EP, and the more EP you earn for a category of goods, the more we'll showcase the recommender in areas related to those product categories, which means the opportunity to earn even more EP and eventually become the expert for that category!
How can we do this?
Yub earns commissions from our partners when you shop. Then, depending on how much we can afford based on your membership level, we give it back to you.
Yub.com gives you cash back in the form of Yub Points when you shop at our partners by visiting our qualified cash back links.
Yub Points are rewarded after the product ships and the retailer contacts Yub to let us know this. This usually occurs within 48 hours of the ship date. Yub Points can be redeemed for cash after more than 1000 points have been received ($10) and after all the products that these points are awarded for pass the retailers return window without being returned.
No. Yub is the place to visit before you buy; it is the place where you can find the best products, read a broad base of reviews about those products, do research on the price at different retailers, and discover what Yub cash-back rewards gets for you. When you are ready to buy, Yub links you directly to the right place in that store.
The products cost exactly the same when you buy them as they would if you had gone directly to that retailer- but we give you cash-back rewards when you shop through Yub. We get commissions from the sale, but we give all we can spare back to you. If you want to earn the cash-back rewards, be sure to visit Yub first, log-in and then follow one of the Yub links to the online store at which you wish to shop. Yub only knows to reward you if you follow one of our Buy buttons to the retailer.
You accumulate rewards when you shop through Yub as a logged in, registered member of the site, with cookies enabled. In addition, Yub MUST be the last site you visit before visiting the site you want to shop at and you must visit that retailer's website using a link on Yub.com. After you shop, the retailer reports the qualifying sales to us on an hourly or daily basis and we automatically add your earned Yub Points to your account. It can take anywhere from 6 hours to 30 days for eligible rewards to show up in your profile- it usually take between 30 and 90 days for each reward to be verified in full so we can pay you- this window is so that members who return products are not paid rewards.
When you have accrued enough verified rewards, you can redeem it very easily- we will either send you a check or you can automatically transfer the cash rewards into a PayPal account.
